Visiting the domain graveyard

Jan 24, 22

Like most budding programmers, I tend to have a lot of ‘great’ ideas. Unfortunately I also tend to lack any form of execution to actually bring these projects to life.

Therefore I am kicking off this blog, with the intention of finally creating some projects to match the domain names I have purchased over the years.

I intend to create all of the sites using Ruby on Rails, as I am super excited for the changes that have been introduced as part of Rails 7.

The full list is below - 10 whole domains waiting to be built. As you can probably tell, inspiration strikes fast - motivation, sadly, strikes a lot slower

  • eddsansome.com
  • casually.io
  • forentus.com
  • gifdrill.com
  • hashmons.com
  • moodbloc.com
  • murismo.com
  • nuzlockers.com
  • scrollbusters.com
  • smartflix.app

I plan to make a blog post for each domain, to document my thought process

So where should we start? Well I guess it would make sense to go from the top, to the bottom…

checks title of blogsite - well holy shit, we can cross off the first on the list already!

eddsansome.com is the home for my journey to finally use some of my drunkenly purchased domain names. I will also use it to dump knowledge that might be useful, even after I have forgotten it
